DAY THREE - MARCH 16TH

   ....

“Lazarus” series consists of photographs taken every day at 10h00 on one of Geneva's main streets, Rue de Carouge. The photos are taken from the same position in two different directions and daily shooting creates a kind of timeline of the given situation. The series begins on Day One, ie. March 14th, when the Federal Council of the Swiss Confederation for the Fight against Coronaviruses (COVID-19) introduced extraordinary isolation measures and this photographic series lasted 57 days, when these measures were withdrawned.

Photographs were shown premierly in the frame of project "Que faites-vous quand vous ne faites rien ?" organized by Centre de la Photographie Genève.

Look up here, I'm in heaven
I've got scars that can't be seen
I've got drama, can't be stolen
Everybody knows me now
